Was in Pulau Perhentian @ Perhentian Island on 22-24 June 2012. Taken several shots of the scenery there using my Panasonic Lumix! According to the locals, the best month to go there is actually July or August, because the sea will be even clearer! Can’t imagine!
Went there by Air Asia, from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu. From Kota Bharu Airport, took a taxi to Besut Jetty and from the jetty took a boat to the island.

Went to Shanghai for a work trip. Since I reached there a day before work began, I was able to explore Shanghai, even though for a short while. By the way, I want to thank Ivan Tay for being such a great tour guide! 😛
Went there by Malaysia Airlines System. The flight will take you from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
However, I went back to Kuala Lumpur via Hangzhou by Air Asia. The flight will take you from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport to LCCT Kuala Lumpur.
Move around a lot when I was there, from Shanghai to Zhejiang to Hangzhou. First was Shanghai. For the first night, stayed at Shanghai Millennium Hotel. The room is sooo spacious!
After checked in and freshen up, it was time to do some exploring!
Nice view with Chinese architecture. Love it!! Make me feel like I am really in China! 😛 Bought souvenirs here. There is also a 2 Yuan shop, meaning everything they sell is only 2 Yuan!!
Shanghai Bund is located on the west bank of the Huangpu River, with an excellent views of Pudong’s skyscrapers. Most of the buildings here is sooo different from what you can see at YuYuan Commercial Center because most of it looks like it was from old colonial-era. It is really beautiful sight especially during the night since most of the building are beautifully lit up.
Nanjing Road, famed as “No. 1 Street in China”, is an epitome of Shanghai ‘s history and culture. The 1,033-m long Pedestrian Walkway lies between the Bund and the People’s Square. There are more than 600 shops on both sides of the walkway. There are not only 100-year old ones, famous brand ones but also specialty shops of different trades. At night, the whole walkway is lit up.
And that was the end of the exploration! The next day, went to work and later on I was on the move to second location (few hours drive), and check in to second hotel.
When I entered the room, it was love at first sight! The room is beautiful & even way way wayyyyy bigger than the previous hotel!
The next day, went to work and on the move again to next destination. Hangzhou! The distance is quite far so I need to take the bullet train to go there, and check in to the third hotel.
The room is not as big as two previous hotel but it’s ok! By the way, there are a lot of shops close to the hotel.
