GIMP – The GNU Image Manipulation Program

I work in a lighting industry … (if you really focus on my earlier posts, you will know which company I am referring to :P) and since i have a background in IT, people will tend to ask me to help out with lighting designs & simulation and sometimes just to edit or create flyers. That is why and how i manage to come across this very useful software (so that i can do my work!). It works like Photoshop, and the best part is that IT’S 100% FREE! What is it? It’s call “GIMP”!

Below are some of my ‘early editing work’ that I have done (I just follow some tutorials). On the left side are the original images & on the right side are the edited images :)

To use this image authoring tool is so easy … you can just search for ‘gimp tutorials’ on google or yahoo, etc. and there will be a lot of sites which will be listed. That is how I manage to learn using this awesome tool! :)
